The Psychology minor provides students with a broad foundation in the various subdisciplines of psychology. This understanding of human behavior and mental processes complements many majors, enhancing career opportunities in a number of professions, including education, nursing, and criminal justice.

Requirements for Minor in Psychology
- A minor in Psychology requries 18 credit hours; a minimum of 12 credit hours must be completed at York College.
- 100 level or 200 level transfer courses in Psychology cannot be used to satisfy 300 or 400 level Psychology course requirements. These courses will be transferred as free electives.

Choose 15 - 16 credits from the following advanced Psychology courses:
Note(s):
*Students may take PSY 221 , PSY 223 or PSY 321 but may not take more than one of these courses for credit in the Psychology minor.
**Students may take PSY 230 or PSY 330 but may not take both courses for credit in the Psychology minor.
