Continuous Improvement Minor

The minor in Continuous Improvement will help develop the skill set for managers in all business fields, especially second level managers. This minor is designed for non-business majors that are interested in the Supply Chain field. This minor is not available to Supply Chain Operations Management majors.

Students must attain a 2.0 or higher in each course that serves as a prerequisite to a subsequent Business course (refer to the course description for specific prerequisites). Failure to attain a 2.0 in prerequisite courses may lengthen the time to graduation.

BUS 100 Getting to Know the Modern Value Chain 3 credit hours
OR
MGT 150 Principles of Management 3 credit hours
SCM 250 Total Quality Management 3 credit hours
SCM 320 Lean Systems 3 credit hours
SCM 325 Six Sigma Process Management 3 credit hours
OR
SCM 490 Internship in Supply Chain Operations Management 3 credit hours
QBA 260 Data Driven Decision Making 3 credit hours
QBA 265 Introduction to Analytics 3 credit hours
OR
SCM 300 Operations Management 3 credit hours
