The Master of Accounting (MAcc) prepares students to build upon their foundation of technical accounting knowledge and develop exceptional analytical skills, while becoming familiar with taxation, auditing, and professional research. Students will expand their knowledge of the professional responsibilities of accountants, the strategic role of accounting in business organizations, and design of technology for accounting.

Upon graduation, having met the 150 credit hour academic requirement of most states, graduates are prepared to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.

MACC Program Policies

The MAcc is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in accounting.  Applicants with an alternate undergraduate major are required to demonstrate academic proficiency in accounting concepts prior to beginning MAcc courses.
