Outdoor Leadership Minor

This minor combines academic instruction and experiential learning to provide students with foundational knowledge and skill competencies for leadership in outdoor contexts. Coursework is embedded with opportunities for campus/community engagement and entry-level, industry standard certifications. Students will practice application and analysis of specialized learning in areas such as: outdoor leadership, adventure programming, ropes course facilitation, supportive interdisciplinary coursework, outdoor skill-based Physical Education courses, and a culminating outdoor expedition leadership course.

Requirements (14-18 credits):
