York College courses help students develop the knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to excel in the clinical rotation through one of many affiliated clinical sites. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the national certification exam. This program is accredited by way of our clinical affiliates through the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS).

The Nuclear Medicine Technology program prepares students for highly specialized training in procedures and equipment used to perform functional clinical studies, imaging procedures and laboratory tests.  York College courses help students develop the knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to excel in the clinical rotation through one of the many affiliated clinical sites. At the end of the clinical rotation, students are eligible to take the national certification exam and begin a career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.  This program is accredited by way of our clinical affiliate through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT).

The Radiography program prepares students to work with physicians and other health care professionals as they assist with patient diagnoses by producing diagnostic radiographs. York College courses help students develop the knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to excel in the clinical rotation through our affiliated clinical site. Graduates of the program are prepared to work in hospitals and outpatient imaging centers and can then gain further certification in MRI scans, CT scans and mammography.  Upon completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the national certification exam.  This program is accredited by way of our clinical affiliate through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

The Respiratory Care major prepares students for a professional career as a Respiratory Therapist, by completing a combination of classroom, laboratory and clinical work. Graduates are prepared to work with physicians involved with diagnosis, treatment, management and preventative care for patients with cardiopulmonary problems.  Graduates enjoy a high job placement rate in a variety of clinical settings including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, retirement centers, home care equipment companies, and physician offices, to name just a few.   The program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
