PSY 245 Lifespan DevelopmentFall/Spring/Summer
This course provides an overview of human development across the lifespan, from conception through late adulthood. Emphasis is placed on the biological, cognitive, and psychosocial changes that occur at each stage of development, as well as the influences of culture, family, and environment. Students will explore major theories and research findings in developmental psychology and consider how these perspectives apply to real-world contexts. By the end of the course, students will have a broad understanding of the processes that shape human growth and change, as well as an appreciation for the diversity of developmental pathways.
