PSY 376 Community PsychologyFall Even-Numbered Years
Community Psychology focuses on understanding and addressing the complex interplay of factors that influence the well-being of communities and individuals within those communities. This course provides a foundational exploration of basic principles of community psychology, community research, types and models of prevention, program evaluation, and strategies for community intervention and social change. Students will gain a deep understanding of how communities function, the factors that influence community well-being, and the strategies employed to promote positive change within diverse communities. Prerequisite: PSY 100 .
