INT 110 Cultural Perspectives on Contemporary Issues

Fall/Spring

Students in this course will examine topics of importance in the global community from a variety of perspectives. Emphasis will be placed on perspectives on these topics in the French-, German-, and Spanish-speaking worlds. Examples include such topics as immigration, health issues, sustainability, bilingual education, organic food, and higher education. Students will prepare a project designed to raise awareness of a global issue with a wider audience beyond the classroom. No foreign language proficiency is required to enroll in this course.
