NUR 101 Introduction to Nursing: Strategies and Success

Fall/Spring

This course introduces students to nursing practice and focuses on strategies that promote success throughout the nursing program. Emphasis is placed on academic skill development, professional expectations, and personal growth. Students will engage with nursing faculty through coaching, self-assessment, and goal setting to strengthen readiness for the demands of nursing education. Topics include effective study strategies, time management, communication, use of campus resources, and development of resiliency to foster persistence and achievement in the nursing curriculum.
