FCM 394 Forensic Biology

Fall

This course examines biological evidence found at crime scenes or related to criminal cases. Students will be exposed to topics such as biometrics (fingerprints, palm prints, iris scans), hair, serology, DNA, and wildlife forensics. Court presentation, professional practice and ethics, quality assurance and quality control will also be covered. 3 lecture hours. Prerequisite: FCM 210  and FCM 362  with a grade of 2.0 or higher. Corequisite: FCM 395 .
