PSY 331 Child Psychopathology and Mental Health

Spring Even-Numbered Years

This course will serve as a supplemental course in psychopathology. Focus will be placed on psychological disorders of childhood and adolescence, including understanding different perspectives from which disorders can be diagnosed and classified, recognizing how these disorders fall outside the range of developmental norms and appreciating the symptom presentation, diagnostic strategies, and treatment of psychopathology in youth. Prerequisite: PSY 321  and PSY 330  or permission of instructor. Psychology majors only.
