SPN 315 Introduction to Spanish and Spanish American Literature



This course offers an overview of major works and literary movements from Spain and Latin America. Students will explore a variety of genres—including poetry, prose, and drama—while examining cultural, historical, and political themes that shape the Spanish-speaking world. Emphasis will be placed on understanding literary movements and the evolution of narrative forms, as well as analyzing the socio-political influences on literature from both sides of the Atlantic. 

3 credit hours
