ECH 320 Teaching Mathematics Methods

Fall/Spring

This course will prepare students for teaching mathematical methods in the classroom environment. Course content deals with appropriate pedagogy, methods, and materials for teaching mathematics. Emphasis is on the development of mathematical concepts, cooperative grouping, and inquiry learning. This course is designed to prepare beginning teachers to effectively implement state level and national mathematics standards. Prerequisite: Teacher Candidacy.
