GRD 200 Introduction to Graphic Design

This course provides a foundation in the terminology, concepts, elements, and practice of graphic design. Students will learn basic formal, typographic and technical terminology, as well as gain awareness of graphic design’s role in culture and history. Through readings and hands-on studio projects, personal process and conceptual thinking will be emphasized. 5 lecture and studio hours.
