MED 637 Leveraging Generative AI for Modern Learning

Fall/Spring/Summer

Students will examine the role of AI in shaping innovative K12 learning environments. Students will explore current and emerging strategies to develop K12 students’ AI literacy, strengthen critical thinking skills and promote responsible use of AI technologies. Emphasis is placed on designing learning experiences that foster creativity, problem-solving and innovation while maintaining a balance between AI augmentation and human agency. Through practical application and reflective practice, students will develop skills to purposefully integrate generative AI into instruction and empower students to navigate and contribute to a rapidly evolving digital world. 3 credit hours
