MED 635 AI in Education: From Foundations to Ethical PracticeFall/Spring/Summer
This course provides a comprehensive framework for educators to understand and strategically apply generative AI within K-12 settings. Students will explore the foundational concepts and capabilities of generative AI technologies while critically examining their pedagogical implications. The course addresses ethical considerations, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and academic integrity as well as analyzes how AI can serve as a catalyst for human and social thriving, preparing educators to leverage these tools to create learning environments. 3 credit hours
