MED 530 Behavior Supports in EducationFall/Spring/Summer
During adolescence, children experience numerous developmental changes and are exposed to various daily stressors. The ability of youth to handle these stressors can impact their mental health, well-being, and school performance. These realities have influenced systems-level approaches utilized by schools to establish the type of behavioral support and programming that will promote all students’ academic and behavioral growth. This course integrates the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with other evidence-based practices to empower teachers and schools to provide effective behavioral supports that allow students to thrive in their educational environment. 3 credit hours
