MPF 577 Project Management
Organizations use Project Management to drive progress and change, as well as strategically respond to market demands and opportunities. Project Management brings together skills, resources, and capabilities to deliver desired results and value. Students will learn how to manage a broad range of activities within an organization based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). Students will study and apply the full life cycle perspective of managing a project in a process‐based, predictive environment, which includes initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing. Adaptive and principle‐based Project Management approaches, which use agile and hybrid techniques, will be introduced. Crosslisted with MBA 577 . 3 credit hours
