Patient safety and quality are woven into the fabric of healthcare delivery in the United States. We will be studying patient safety from the perspective of being in a leadership position within a healthcare organization. The course will focus on developing competencies associated within the discipline of patient safety, and how these principles and an understanding of the key principles and competencies are applied in everyday practice. 3 credit hours
