MPA 531 Portfolio Assessment 2

This independent study is designed to provide the opportunity to collect, reflect, and evaluate prior and current work experience related to public policy and/or public administration. Students will evaluate all coursework and course content that they have applied, or are in the processing of applying, to their MPPA degree and evaluate specific ways in which their prior and/or current work experience could have been supported by their degree. This includes specific ways prior and/or current work related to public policy and/or public administration could have been completed more effectively or ways they could have been more successful in a specific aspect of their work. In addition, they will create a portfolio of prior or current work products that reflect the public policy/public administration fields, and provide assessments/feedback/revisions that would create a strong work product. This course can only be taken upon approval by the Director of the MPPA Program. 3 credit hours
