BEH 470 Applied Community EngagementFall/Spring/Summer
This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to take part in service learning and explore various social issues as they relate to the field of behavioral sciences. Each student will complete a minimum of 100 hours of service in an approved community agency/organization. Students will be expected to reflect critically on their service experience and apply their knowledge of behavioral sciences theory, policy, research, and practice. Prerequisite: Senior standing, permission of the instructor.
