BIO 408 Biology Research III



This is the third course in a 4‐course series that is designed to support and guide students in the design and execution of a research project. During the course series, students will work closely with a research mentor and fellow students to investigate a topic, design a laboratory or field study, and collect and analyze data. In this course, students will analyze and interpret data collected during scientific study, and will summarize their overall research results in a formal written manuscript. Students will also have the opportunity to present their research to the wider scientific community. Grading will be Pass/Fail. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor and BIO 407 .

1 credit hour
