ART 440 Senior Thesis

Fall/Spring

This course centers on the completion and professional presentation of each student’s thesis body of work. Senior art majors finalize their artist statements, refine portfolios, refine resumes, and produce self-promotional materials. The review process offers students an opportunity for self-assessment, peer feedback, and professional critique, equipping them for career paths or graduate study. Emphasis is placed on documenting work and synthesizing personal and conceptual insights developed over the senior year. Students will present their completed thesis in visual, written and oral formats, demonstrating their readiness to transition from academic to professional practice. Prerequisite: Fine Art majors and Digital Arts and Artificial Intelligence majors only.
