ART 295 Editorial Photography I

Fall/Spring/Summer

This course introduces students to the practice of editorial photography, which is often client-driven and that accompanies and illustrates written pieces in magazines, newspapers, and websites. Utilizing skills learned in previous courses, students will experience basic location and studio lighting techniques as well as intermediate digital post-production methods. Students will be required to provide their own digital SLR camera with manual controls. Prerequisite: ART 246 or GRD 247.
