MED 626 Teacher Leadership

Fall, Spring, Summer

Students learn the skills required to succeed in teacher-leadership positions in school organizations, such as, technology and instructional coaches, team leaders and department chairs. Students will learn how to facilitate the development of institutional cultures that promote collective growth and development using established adult learning theories. Products created in association with these learning goals include, school policies, needs assessment, implementation plans and a professional development or professional learning program proposal. 3 credit hours
