PH 330 Global Emerging Infectious Diseases

Fall and Spring

This course examines factors that contribute to the emergence and re‐emergence of infectious diseases, and provides a framework for assessing the global public health threat changes in these factors on infectious disease epidemiology. This course will review a series of current issues and controversies in the prevention and control of infectious diseases both from science and policy perspectives. Fundamental principles of infectious disease pathogenesis, epidemiology as well as prevention will be addressed.
