PH 230 Health Equity

Fall and Spring

This course encourages students to critically examine how ethnicity and culture impacts health and to explore the individual and structural factors contributing to health disparities. The relationship of how prejudice and discrimination as well as neighborhood and community contribute to health disparities is discussed. US health disparities are compared to various global health disparities.
