This course incorporates the common concepts of environmental health (air, water, and land pollution) as well as emerging and controversial issues associated with environmental threats to human health (such as emerging diseases, global warming, biological and chemical weapons). Emphasis is on sources of exposures, effects on human health, and methods of limiting exposures and effects.
