PSY 231 Positive Psychology
Built on the belief that health is more than the absence of illness, positive psychology examines the elements that contribute to a healthy and fulfilling life. This course will address topics such as gratitude, resilience, optimism, grit, and mindfulness. Readings and assignments will focus on the study and application of positive psychology concepts as a means of understanding current principles and future directions in positive psychology. This is a hands‐on course, in that assignments will include the practice of positive psychology activities. Prerequisite: PSY 100 .
