PAW 320 Yoga: Practice and Purpose (Coed)Fall, Spring
This course will provide students with an in‐depth look at this ancient practice and relate the direct experience of yoga practice to modern day challenges. Yoga asks participants to reflect upon how they respond and behave across a variety of circumstances and challenges in the practice of yoga, and how those responses apply to ‘off the mat’ life scenarios as well. While yoga may be an outwardly physical practice, and indeed does offer much in the way of physical health benefit, this class is designed to allow for deep, personal reflection and application to all areas and stages of life. The course will also allow students to explore how they can share yoga with others of various ages and situations for the benefit of a workplace or community.
3 credit hours.
