WRT 325 Language and Linguistics



Language and Linguistics is an introduction to American English. Areas of focus include perspectives on the history of American English, English grammar, language standardization and dialects, origins of words, and the role of dictionaries. Required for English Literary Studies, Professional Writing, and Secondary Education-English majors. This course is crosslisted as HUM 325 . Prerequisite: FCO 105
