ECE 492 Engineering Cooperative Work Experience (Co-op II)
Co‐op is a graduation requirement for all Engineering students. The student spends a total of two semester terms plus interim periods employed in an industrial organization or enterprise performing engineering‐related work. Beginning with the summer term after the student’s sophomore year, he or she alternates work semesters with academic semesters through the junior year. Co‐op employment is coordinated and monitored by the participating faculty member and the industrial mentor. Co‐op reports are approved and signed by all three parties. Permission of the instructor is required to withdraw once a student is registered. Prerequisite: EGR 491 or ECE 491
