NUR 324 Strategies for Critical Thinking in Nursing Education and PracticeFall/Spring
This course is required for students not meeting the benchmark on standardized exams during the first clinical semester. In this course, students will develop more effective study strategies to promote retention of foundational nursing concepts. Students will utilize self-assessment tools to strengthen their critical thinking skills for professional nursing practice. Evidence-based strategies for learning and retention of information will be discussed. Students will also learn to critically analyze exam questions to effectively remediate on knowledge gaps. Nursing majors only. Prerequisite: NUR 203 , NUR 204 , NUR 205 , NUR 210 , and NUR 211
