REC 450 Therapeutic Recreation and Wellness Administration

Students will study the administrative responsibilities, tasks, and challenges that a therapeutic recreation and wellness professional with administrative duties will experience in the field. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, strategic planning, budgeting, human resources, marketing, and risk management. Case studies will be used to relate these responsibilities to the unique nature of the therapeutic recreation and wellness professions. Prerequisite: REC 101, REC 103, REC 200, REC 210, and REC 221.
