HIS 371 American Constitutionalism (I): Structures of Government

Fall

This course will examine the foundations and development of the American constitutional system focusing on the structures of government. Particular attention will be given to the writing of the U.S. Constitution and the evolution of constitutional law as it relates to federalism, separation of powers, judicial review, and the meaning of democracy. This course is crosslisted as PS 371 .
