ART 315 Drawing III: AnimalsFall/Spring
This course will equip students with a comprehensive understanding of drawing animals effectively. Students will investigate animal anatomy, emphasizing skeletal structures and musculature. A key focus will be on mastering textures, such as fur, scales, feathers, and chiton. The course will also teach the importance of accurate proportion in relation to the overall anatomy. Techniques to accurately capture movement and expression will be integrated. Through studio sessions, field observations, and critiques, participants will sharpen their skills, aiming to depict animals with precision and detail. Prerequisite: ART 265 .
