GRD 396 Publication DesignFall
Students in this advanced typographic course learn how to design commercial, industrial, and personal publications. The history of publishing technology, as well as the terminology of publication design and production, will be covered. In this specialized studio course, the emphasis is on the interpretation of content, viewer engagement, and legibility through typographic excellence. Effective project planning and organization are stressed, as are industry methods of communication and self‐publishing. 5 lecture and studio hours. Prerequisite: GRD 218 , GRD 390 . Graphic Design majors only.
