ACC 320 Intermediate Accounting IFall
This is the first course in the two‐semester sequence of intermediate financial accounting. The course presents a comprehensive coverage of financial accounting theory and practice that includes the development of accounting principles and professional practice, the accounting cycle with particular focus on adjusting entries, an examination of the statement of income, retained earnings, balance sheet and statement of cash flows. Additional topics include the application of the time value of money to accounting and business, an analysis of cash, receivables and inventories, long‐term assets and current liabilities. Prerequisite: ACC 220 with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
