BUS 350 Management of Not-for-Profit Operations

This course will examine the management of not-for-profit institutions. It will examine the necessary skill sets needed for effective management of these types of organizations. In addition, time will be spent developing an understanding of the differences between not-for-profit and for-profit organizations and the unique skill sets required for managing a not-for-profit. This course will use case studies, films and selected readings to allow students to develop their competency in managing not-for-profit organizations, including churches, hospitals, and universities, among others.
