BIO 350 Biochemistry I

Fall/Spring

This course is an introduction to the composition of and interactions between molecules of biological significance, including nucleic acids, proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids. The course is taught with an emphasis on the structure-function relationship of each molecule with regard to supporting life.  3 lecture hours. Prerequisite: BIO 142  or BIO 150  with a grade of 2.0 or higher and CHM 234  and CHM 235 BIO 240  is recommended. Corequisite: BIO 351 .
