ART 225 Ceramics I

Fall/Spring/Summer

This is a beginner-level studio course that introduces students to the techniques of ceramics. Students explore basic hand-building techniques and gain an understanding of glazing and firing. Class includes an introduction to the potter’s wheel. 5 lecture and studio hours.
