CVE 350/351 Introduction to Environmental Engineering

Spring Semester

This course introduces the relationship between civil engineering systems and the environment. Students will study the fundamentals of environmental systems, including the engineering principles of physical, chemical, and biological processes relating to protecting environmental quality and human health. Topics will include managing pollution and hazardous waste, environmental legislation, and chemical/biochemical cycles as they relate to water, land, and air. Prerequisite: CHM 134/135 and MAT 272. Corequisite: CVE351
