ACC 430 Advanced Auditing
This course will provide a deeper analysis of auditing and its value to capital markets. Course content will focus on tests and procedures used to audit various accounting cycles. This course will also provide deeper understanding of the client selection process, sampling techniques, and the audit conclusion phase including the issuance of the final audit opinion with the client’s Audit Committee of the Board of Directors. The role and responsibilities of internal auditing will also be addressed. Prerequisite: ACC 410 with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
