WRT 452 Research in Teaching and Tutoring of Writing

This course offers students guided practice in the teaching and tutoring of writing as well as in the current research surrounding writing pedagogy. It will provide students with hands-on experience in the teaching and tutoring of writing through the Peer Writing Fellows program of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), will survey current research and research methodologies in writing studies, and will guide students toward the development of an independent research project based in their experiential learning in the CTL. Prerequisite: FCO 210 (WRT210), FCO 215, or FCO 225 (WRT225)
