QBA 260 Business Statistics IFall-Spring Semester
This is an introductory course in statistics, the study of proper methods of presenting data and of interpreting sample data based on probability theory. Coverage includes descriptive statistics, probability and probability distributions, and interval estimation and hypothesis testing of means and proportions. A statistical software package is introduced in this course. Prerequisite: Successful completion of IFS 100 or IFS 105 , completion of MAT 120 or equivalent with grade of 2.0 or higher. Students who have taken BEH 260 or MAT 250 are not permitted to take this course.
