ART 287 Printmaking IFall-Spring Semesters
This course is an introductory investigation of traditional and non-traditional relief and paleographic methods of multiple imagery. The student will explore the techniques of linocut, woodcut, monoprinting, silkscreen and collography, aswell as paper lithography and other experimental methods. This course not only provides a technical foundation in printmaking media but encourages innovative use of printmaking processes. 5 lecture and studio hours. Prerequisite: Art majors only.
