ART 245 Photography IFall-Spring-Summer Semesters
This course provides an introduction to the art, aesthetics, theory, and practice of black-and-white photography. Emphasis will be on the technical skills and aesthetic decisions practiced in the darkroom to produce exhibition quality prints. The student will be expected to supply his/her own camera (35 mm SLR with manual control), paper, and film. 5 lecture and studio hours.
