Program Educational Objectives
The Hospitality and Tourism Management major will provide students with:
- Students will analyze variable and fixed costs associated with food and beverage operations to determine success of a restaurant operation.
- Students will demonstrate understanding of the leadership actions necessary to implement effective change.
- Students will demonstrate an understanding of revenue management.
- Students will demonstrate an understanding of proper safety and sanitation procedures in a restaurant setting.
- Students will create a professional portfolio to share their accomplishments with potential employers.
