Hospitality and Tourism Management, B.S. Learning Outcomes


Program Educational Objectives

The Hospitality and Tourism Management major will provide students with:

  • Students will analyze variable and fixed costs associated with food and beverage operations to determine success of a restaurant operation.
  • Students will demonstrate understanding of the leadership actions necessary to implement effective change.
  • Students will demonstrate an understanding of revenue management.
  • Students will demonstrate an understanding of proper safety and sanitation procedures in a restaurant setting.
  • Students will create a professional portfolio to share their accomplishments with potential employers.
