Program Educational Objectives

• Students will provide evidence of their continued professional development through classroom teaching experiences in the area of certification as noted by criteria, competencies, and clinical evaluation.
• Students will apply competencies and skills needed to accommodate and adapt instruction for students with disabilities and English Language Learners in inclusive settings.
• Students will demonstrate their knowledge in areas of subject matter, assessment, and pedagogy, with emphasis on literacy and math development, as well as science, social studies, and art methods.
• Students will demonstrate their ability to implement effective educational practices with regard to child development and PK-4 education, including cognition, behavior, social, curriculum, and family supports.
